Summer is just beginning to round the corner and head toward fall, and for gardeners that means one thing — canning season! I’m so excited to be teaching canning classes at Denver Botanic Gardens this year. It’s a lot of fun to share this thing that I love to do with other engaged, interested people. (Please forgive the poor quality of the pictures — there was a lot going on!)

We have one more Simple Water Bath Canning class scheduled this year (click here for more information and to register). After that, we’ll start our “Canning for the Holidays” class, with fantastic recipes for canned goods that make great holiday gifts. We’ll have three of those before the holiday season (click here for more information and to register).
