Organic, Ultra-Local Produce… Come and Get It!
We’re excited to announce that Heirloom Gardens is teaming up with Potter Highlands Produce to bring organic, heirloom, ultra-local vegetables and herbs to the 32nd Ave Farmers’ Market. Stop by and see us on Sundays from 9am to 1pm at 32nd & Lowell in northwest Denver.
Potter Highlands Produce is an urban farm that sells produce to restaurants and at farmers’ markets, and Heirloom Gardens is growing in a large front-yard garden. Part of the beauty of coming together at the 32nd Ave Farmers’ Market is that the Potter Highlands farm is located just 1 mile to the east of the market, and Heirloom Gardens is located just one mile to the west of the market. Together, we’ll give you the most local, freshly picked, tasty vegetables you can find!
Our selection at the market will vary weekly based on what the farm & garden are giving us, and try to come early because we may sell out! All items sold are 100% organically grown. Produce available may include:
- Tomatoes (slicing, cherry, and paste)
- Peppers (hot and sweet)
- Squash (summer and winter)
- Lettuce and/or salad mix
- Edible flowers
Know your farmer, know your food. (And it doesn’t hurt when you could almost throw a rock from the market and hit the place where the food is grown.) We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
